Driving Directions
Below are simple routes to help you find us. Whether you’re travelling up from Cape Town or down from the northern towns, getting to Piketberg is simple.
FROM CAPE TOWN AIRPORT (SOUTH)
- Exit the airport and get onto the N2 towards Cape Town city centre.
- From the N2, follow signs for Bellville / Paarl / Malmesbury, joining the N7 northbound.
- Continue on the N7 past Malmesbury and stay on it until you reach Piketberg.
- In town, turn into Long Street (Langstraat) and follow it to Number 72.
- Distance/time: about 129 – 130km / 1h25 – 1h40
FROM CITRUSDAL / CLANWILLIAM (NORTH)
- Take the N7 south towards Cape Town.
- Pass through Citrusdal (if coming from Clanwilliam, it’s about 30 minutes before Citrusdal).
- Continue south on the N7 until you reach the Piketberg turn-off.
- Once in town, head into Long Street (Langstraat) and find us at Number 72.
- Distance/time from Citrusdal: about 50 km / 40 min
- Distance/time from Clanwilliam: about 95 km / 1h05
CHECK-IN | CHECKOUT
Check-in time is from 14:00 — drop your bags, breathe in the fresh Piketberg air, and make yourself at home. Check-out is at 10:00, unless you’ve arranged a little extra time with us. Running late? No stress, just give us a heads-up.
CANCELLATION | DEPOSIT
Life happens — we get it. If you need to cancel, let us know at least 24 hours before arrival for a full refund. A 50% deposit secures your booking, and we’ll gladly welcome you back whenever you’re ready to visit Piketberg again.
GUESTHOUSE GUIDELINES
At De Berge, we keep things simple so that every guest can feel comfortable and at home. We kindly ask that you treat the space and fellow guests with respect, enjoy smoking only in the dedicated outdoor area, and note no pets allowed. Each room is designed for a maximum of two guests. Children are welcome — little ones (0–2 years) stay free, and kids (3–12 years) are R250 per night.
